In your field, you want to be the best at what you do.  I think that is the culture here at Level Group, it certainly is my objective on a day-to-day basis. I think about how far we've evolved today, where I've been in my career, and believe real estate is the most rewarding business that you could be in.   Every single apartment that comes to market, comes with a story behind it, it's really a wonderful piece of the puzzle.  To be able to advocate for a client, help them make a wise decision, to be an influence at those key moments, it is absolutely incredible!  What other business do you get a hug after a transaction or you get a handshake and you get a look in the eye that says thank you so much for your insights, thank you so much for working so hard to make this work for us.

I have very high standards and these standards get transmitted to every $200,000 condo and they get transmitted to every $2.5 million, $5 million or $10 million estate.  It's my high standard that I provide to the client base. In the end, your contract, whether I represent the buyer or if I represent the seller, is to get you the best price with the most attractive terms.  That is it in a nutshell. It is my opinion that negotiation is something that you better have mastered; otherwise you're not fulfilling your contractual obligations.  Thousands of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on the scale of the transaction, can be lost to poor negotiation skills and you either have the skill set or you don't. Anger, drama, all that other jazz that doesn't have anything to do with negotiating, needs to still be considered, but set aside when it comes down to negotiating the perfect deal.  Negotiating is a wonderful psychological process that you go through.   The worst negotiator in the world negotiates everything with a hammer, when really a feather could have done the job.
